Road trip around Ireland: what to see and where to go

Every camper is required to drive the Wild Atlantic Way! This road runs along the coast of Ireland from south to north.

The most popular attractions of the route are the Dingle Peninsula, Loop Head, Ring of Kerry, Burren, Mizen Head, Killary Bay and that’s not all! For example, Star Wars fans will find here a couple of places where episodes of the cult saga were filmed.

Another “point of interest” is the Cliffs of Moher, which stretch for 14 km and rise 200 meters above sea level. It is arguably Ireland’s premier tourist attraction. The weather here is unpredictable, so be prepared for cold winds and rain. After all, this is Ireland! Clochan an Aifir is considered a must-see place. Located on the northeast coast of Northern Ireland, near the town of Bushmills, the Giant’s Causeway consists of more than 40 thousand basalt columns formed as a result of volcanic activity.
